General Information
The final major Counter-Strike: Source LAN event of 2009 will see the top teams from around the country make the journey to Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne. As part of Australia's biggest video game expo the eGames Code Black Masters is the biggest eSports event to hit our shores. Sponsored by market leading companies in their respective fields. Intel, SteelSeries & Western Digital have all been an integral part of making this event possible.

FORMAT
Day One - 2 Groups of 6 teams
Day Two - The top 3 teams from each group progress. The 1st place team from each group gets a bye to Stage Two of the competition.
Stage One: 1 Map Single Elimination
- Match I - Team 2 Group A vs Team 3 Group B
- Match II - Team 2 Group B vs Team 3 Group A
Each team eliminates 2 maps and the remaining map is played.
Stage Two: Best of 3 Single Elimination
- Match III - Team 1 Group A vs Winner of match ii
- Match IV - Team 1 Group B vs Winner of match i
Each team eliminates 1 map. The remaining 3 maps are drawn by an admin in random order.
Stage Three: Best of 3 Single Elimination
- Match V - Consolation Final
- Match VI - Grand Final
Each team eliminates 1 map. The remaining 3 maps are drawn by an admin in random order.
