GotGames CS:Promod One Day Competition

GotGames is happy to announce the first Australian Counter-Strike:Promod one day competition; the competition will be a 32 team open competition, held on Sunday, the 7th of February. Registrations will be opening tomorrow night, Wednesday the 3rd of February at 7:00pm AEDT. Registrations will close on the night before the event, Saturday the 6th of February, at midnight. 

There is no entry free for this competition, thus no prize money.
The CEVO CMN anti-cheat system WILL be used throughout the competition and must be used in ALL matches.

The first 32 teams with 5 ready players (on the ready roster with SteamID set in CEVO settings) will get a spot. There will be 8 groups of 4 teams; the top two teams of each group will consequently progress into single elimination finals.

Date of competition: Sunday February 7th
Date of opening registration: Wednesday February 3rd, 7:00PM AEDT (Melbourne time)
Date of closing registration: Saturday February 6th, 11:59PM AEDT (Melbourne time)

ROUND 1 matches will commence at 10:00am AEDTand a representitive from each team will be required to be on GGLIVE in the #odc channel by 9:45am AEDT. Round 1 match details will be provided in the match scheduling thread on CEVO, but details for matches in consequent rounds will be provided through GGLIVE.

Note: GGCEVO Officials will be enforcing the CEVO CS:S Ruleset as they see appropriate; GGCEVO reserves the right to modify any rules as needed and to their discretion. This includes changes due to software updates or releases, and all other changes deemed necessary by GOTGAMES PTY LTD. Any rule changes or exceptions that occur are implemented to maintain and ensure the integrity and fairness of the competition. 

The competition is placed under the Counter-Strike: Source section on the CEVO website.

If you read the article you would have realised that it's created as a CS:Source event... so it's basically the exact same as signing up to our past CS:S ODCs.

agreed, so much hype over this game atm its fun but still buggy as hell should be much better in 1.05 with proper models.
