GAMETECH AUSTRALIA
is the new front for advanced gaming modifications, currently headed by lead developer Brendan 'Twelve-60' Annable, and based out of Sydney, Australia. Brendan has a large amount of experience in programming, web development, scaling, and gaming.

GameTech has launched into the fray with two products, both of which are highly recognised and revered by Counter-Strike: Source gamers worldwide, and especially here, locally in Australia.

GameTech PugMod (as implemented for GotGames Live)

A very powerful and fully web-based piece of software designed to allow easy management of PUG's (Pick Up Games), scrims (matches) and IRC-like chat.

"It can easily bring large amounts of traffic to your site and generate revenue through non-intrusive advertising and premium memberships. Your users will love it, and GameTech will manage the whole process from start to finish." states Brendan.

PugMod covers all bases with:

  • PUG System
  • Details Statistics
  • Skill System
  • Automatic Demo Uploading
  • Scrim System
  • Chat System
  • PM System

GameTech WarMod (formally known as GotGames WarMod)

GameTech WarMod is a completely free SourceMod plugin for the popular Half-Life 2 mod, Counter-Strike:Source. It is specifically designed to be used for competitive matches, and provides the flexibiliy to suit any form of competition, including large tournaments down to clan matches.

"GameTech WarMod has already had success, being used in over 35 countries, thousands of servers, and some of the biggest gaming competitions worldwide." highlights Brendan.

WarMod 3.0 is the latest release by the company, and introduces the following NEW features:

  • Now updated to be compatible with the OB (orange box) engine
  • Rebranded as GameTech WarMod
  • Added automatic updating
  • Updated statistics (livewire)
  • Added wm_warmup_respawn CVAR (deathmatch-like)
  • Added wm_score_mode - two modes: 'best of' (e.g. league format) and 'first to' (e.g. aim competitions)
  • Removed dependence on the hacks extension
  • Updated to the latest sockets extension
  • Updated SourceMod and MetaMod Source
  • Various other bug fixes and improvements

I'm guessing future projects you complete will be given to GotGames for free(or mates rates) to use as a portfolio of it's functionality and to further improve and increase it's usage for potential marketing to other esports organisations?
