The brackets for the GotGames CEVO CS:Source Professional and Intermediate competitions have been released. Follow the links below to view them:

GotGames CEVO Intermediate Finals
All finals games must be played either on or before the dates listed in the brackets. Teams must have their finals games scheduled atleast two days before the date listed in the brackets (so for a Thursday finals match, the game must be scheduled by Tuesday night).
As usual, all games must be played on GotGames servers, which means full SourceTV and stats coverage will be available. For anyone interested in watching the finals matches, keep an eye on the 'matches' tab on the GotGames homepage which will be updated with game times and SourceTV details.
Congratulations to all teams who make the finals!

I would like to point out today is the 1st of October and it is infact a Wednesday.
Where as finals are supposed to be played on Thursday 1st October? |

Then, every other team has had two chances in each round, but f4f will only have one chance at the 'championship match'. What gives? |

we didn't get in finals purely because we forfeited our last match due to people being AFK douchebags and not answering their phone. TBH this finals series is the finals of the handicapped with no SU, iM or the usual high placed westy/sa team.
Still glhf, if f4f don't win then it shows how awesome online cs is |

gotta love cpi..
atvar: your team is 7-0, the team that is 4th is obviously ****ter than you because your first, so your advantage is playing the 'worst' team out of the top 4 rather than the 2nd, although i can understand you would probably want to play cintx as they are Rather ****. |

The f4f boys have a fair point, in intermediate the 1st and 2nd place get it easy (as they are secured a top4/6 finish as they skip the first round). Hopefully next season they will fix this unbalance :)

hehe scott we havn't lost any matches this season :)
I kinda agree with atvar like whats the point of coming first into the finals when the ruleset doesn't really give the 1st seed any sort of advantage |

I reckon f4f will take this season of cevo-p with the lack of stable teams atm they are fairly strong in cevo
they have only lost two games this season gl hf every team playing be good to watch |

It's the same as every other competition atvar. Don't worry though, you're at least the 2nd best team in Australia and undefeated in CEVO, you should be right.

I'm still wondering what the point of coming 1st during the season is when coming 4th seems to put you in the exact same position :S ?
And also a double elim comp where the grand final is best of three? Again, no advantage to the team that doesn't use its 2nd life? |
