Changing the face of gaming - Shigeru Miyamoto

For all of us gamers, there was a time when we all picked up a control stick and turned on our first gaming console. From nintendo to Xbox, play station, dream cast, pc gaming or whatever console you started on. Some of us started with games such as Tetris or PAC man, but for the majority of us it was Donkey Kong and Jumpman (Mario). At the age of 12, I remember the days where I would be at my friend’s house and it was the first time I had picked up my nintendo console controller. All I wanted to do is stay inside and play Donkey Kong all day! Instead of going outside and playing like normal children do, these games and this escape from reality were a lot of great fun.

Nintendo changed my life and for millions of other gamers theirs have been changed too. Including professional gamers such as Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel he is the most accomplished, professional PC Gamer in history and is the breakthrough name and face of the sport. He is the world’s most famous PC gamer, He stated

"I recall playing on my Nintendo from the age of 4, and to say the least, it changed my life forever. Video games became my life when, at 18, I set out to become a full-time professional video gamer. In the past seven years I have won 12 major championships playing five different games."

But this isn’t about Fatal1ty; it’s about Nintendo's Chief Director.
He’s changing the face of video games, so people of any age or sex can enjoy, by creating games such as wii golf and wii fit, for the older generation of gamers, rolling stones magazine named him "the bob Dylan of video games, from Donkey Kong to the wii and he’s only just getting started, his name is Shigeru Miyamoto and what does he do? He was employed by Nintendo in 1977, he was given the chance of working on one of their first coin-operated arcade games, the result of this was not successful in the United States.

Miyamoto later reused the game's hardware and modified it into Donkey Kong which was a massive success and changed video gaming history. He was also supervisor of games such as jumpman which at the time didn’t have a proper name, but it is now called Mario.

He has two children and a wife, neither of their children has expressed a desire to go into the family business. His son, Kenshi Miyamoto, has allegedly expressed a desire to become a pro surfer rather than a professional gamer.

His next move is creating a moving memo pad, an animated program that easily lets you sketch out your own cartoons for the nintendo DSi. This has a huge chance for success and is already massively popular in Japan.

Miyamoto has given us an escape from reality in his games, a great reason to step outside, opens up our eyes to the world waiting to be explored. For that Inspiration alone, his games will forever be remembered; Miyamoto has sold the most titles in history. Many fans call him “GOD” as he is one the most respected person in the gaming development industry.

Miyamoto is a legend.

Even if you are a Nintendo hater, you've got to admire the genius that is the Shigmoto.

Bad point 1) It's poorly written
Bad point 2) 'The Fear' is a horrible song.

LiNK- Each and every one of us are entitled to our own opinion however,
I would like to state that I'm not some professional writer, I'm not even close, I am a gamer with very little writing experience :)

If you don’t like my articles, that’s fine im not asking you to like them.

I really like Lily Allens song the fear, although I don’t really like any of her other songs. I'm a lyrics lover. She's original and cheeky which is what I like about her.
