Fifa 09 or PES 09

just want peoples opinions on what they would prefer, i do own both fifa 08 and pes 08, i prefer fifas online better, but pes graphics and gameplay.
i cant play pes online coz of my NAT settings XD

will b interesting to c what game will b better.

pes08 was possibly the worst pes we have ever seen, EA really lifted fifa to a new level imo. Perhaps if more people played Fifa without the "Assists" then it would be a much more skillful game. I hope PES fixes up their mistakes as i loved pes back in the day, but now, fifa seems to be the superior game. It will be a tough choice, but I have my money on EA to pull out a better game for 09.

i believe they should get the sponsors, as in the names of the clubs and nike/addidas etc its stupid without it, like arsenals-north london i think 1 of em it was called arsenal 06 i tink or 07 but ye.... pes ftw

mhm yeh would b awesome for pes 09 to hav more licensed teams, its because fifa makes most clubs sign with them and they cant sign with pes.

I watched a vid on a full match of PES 09 and Fifa 09. They are both looking like great football games. But Im not really willing to even look at PES 09 unless they fix there online.

Ive 'aquired' fifa09 full game and dled and played PES 09 demo.

Fifa is fun and its got really nice controls. Its got new controls for through balls and tricky stuff which are better than the old ones and give you more control over whats goin on. Looks good, has all the teams, the usual fifa plusses etc.

EDIT: new controls are for pc, i dunno what the xbox version is like

To put it simpily, pes is pretty much the same as the previous ones but just better. Controls are the same, gameplay is similar but smoother, i think they will have more real teams in the 09 version.

fifa is good for abit and i might be able to play it for a while but in the long run i think PES is just a better game cause of the gameplay (physics and player movement).
