ok so who's got what ?

- i got 3 xboxs in my room , 2 awaiting to be sent due to RROD and 1 i have borrowd off a mate who dont play 2 much
- 3 broken wired headsets
- 1 broken wireless
- 2 guitar hero guitars ( 1 GH3 1 GHWT both broken )
- 1 turtle beach headset , microfone dont work

FUCK YOU MICROSOFT charging us out the ARSE for this crap that breaks after a few months. My xbox gaming days are numbered.

Nah we do take responsibility but really especially the microphones they wear off and the communication breaks off and it desides to crack the quits and pritty much dies on you. I've never ever stood on mine, bent it, chewed on it (Who would :S)..
It just wears off.

No, but it would have potentially saved them the estimated $1 billion USD that they've had to spend on repairing and replacing faulty consoles.

I've had pretty good luck with my xbox stuff. I've had RROD once, and i've had my xbox since the 360's release, and all 4 of my xbox mics work (got the mics in bundles etc) same with the wireless one, and my non-ms headsets are all tidy i had a lot more issues with original Xbox. Especially those headsets, snapped like twigs those things, biggest joke.

Very True. Very True. They really should have thought straight enough and bloody fixed these. Alot of the Xbox Live Membership Money goes straight to the repairs. They've had to employ more people to the station cause to many Xbox Acessories and Consoles come in for repair..

im on my 3rd the 1st one was the one i got when 360 was 1st released. I took that one back to EBGames and they just replaced the console for me on the spot. that was about 2 years ago. the 2nd one died about 4 months ago n i cbf sendgin shit away n waiting n all the other hassle so i just got a new one. Im probly going to take the one i have broken to some fella n get it fixed / moded dl games befor i buy em ftw!

2 wireless head sets fucked within a week of each other ? whats wid that. Straight off charge and dont turn on ever again?

Seriously, when replacing boxes - always get arcade box. There's no advantage in the other bundles. The "Elite" is a joke

1 xbox that RROD'd, was fixed (they put in a jet engine by the sounds of it), and died again 7-8 months later.
2 dead wireless headsets
1 dead AV Cable
1 dead batterypack/controller

I got an arcade bundle for heaps cheap on sale early this year, got it sitting on two pieces of 2x4 cutoff, and near a window - all for ventilation.

It's the newest 'wattage' model as well, or whatever it's called. No probs yet, trying to be real friendly around it.

Microsoft rushed out the xbox360 as Joel pointed out because they had too.

It needed to be on the market ASAP. Still it was a fail product at first.

However the 360s that have been made in the last yr or so have the new motherboard and as such do not fail any where near as much. They are heaps better now.

But yeh as for the other stuff, its the same as a logitech mouse or headset or any other electrical item, if you bash it, it breaks. WoW.

Our release Xbox 360 red ringed three times during it's warrenty so on the third we told microsoft that it's a compleatly fulty product and it was a violation of your rights as a consumer and made them give us a different console to the one we had, which they did.
Other broken stuff:
1 PS2 offical GH2 guitar
2 PS2 unoffical GH2 guitars
2 Xbox 360 offical GH3 guitars
1 offical PS3 RockBand Guitar
1 unoffical PS3/PS2 Rockband/GH Guitar
1 offical PS3 Rockband Drums (ok the pads didn't register anymore and the base peddel snaped in half)

So now other then Guitar hero and Rockband stuff and the Xbox 360 none of my console stuff has ever broken (And I've got a shit load, think every console since PS1 with some back and rare collecting alnog the way 3D0 FTW)
