iPhone apps/prepaid questions

I'm getting an Iphone soon and i was wondering with the apps can you just download them for free of the net or do you have to pay for em.

Also i am going to be using it on prepaid, either data blaster or the turbo charge which gives me around 100 - 500 mb per month, would this be enough for the phone?

500mb maybe but not 100. Some apps are free, some arent.

There are free apps and paid apps. Have a look on the itunes store, there are over 70,000 apps to download. Really depends on what you're going to use the iphone for. If you're just doing web browsing then 100mb should be fine. However if you're going to be on youtube and buying apps/music through itunes on the iphone then go with the 500mb plan, your carrier should let you upgrade if you need more.

thanks for that. If i use WIFI at home will that use my downloads?... because i got a wireless router. then ill just download apps using my homenet

Nope, just make sure that you're connecting to itunes/youtube etc by your home wi-fi rather than 3g and it won't count towards your mobile usage.

uhh....iphone, I got one for free. I just gave mine away to my cousin.

If you're going to make an account on itunes be sure to make the account on the apps store otherwise if you make an account on the itunes store you cannot get past the payment section without a credit card or itunes gift card. The apps store allows you to select 'none' as a payment method.
I think it's still like that.
