    HP Pavilion dv6-3006TX Notebook

    Hi GG,

I decided to come to Got games for help. I'm saving up pretty damn hard for a nice laptop, I'v had my eye on the Dv6-3006tx for quite some time now.

You can view the laptop here: HP Pavilion dv6-3006TX Notebook dv6-3006TX (XC8834) | Dick Smith Online Store

If you can find this item cheaper for me i would really appreciate it.

Please know this shop has to be in Australia, Melbourne.

    Thanks in advance,
    Heinrich.

Just walk into an officeworks and ask them to see if any stores still have stock...

The only thing is, a lot of remaining models will be customer returns as there was a problem with the wireless adaptors on this model that required a bios update.

I have this laptop, I got it for a cool 900$.

So far there's been no problem with the wireless adapter but it might come up soon.

Seeing as you live in Melbourne it will be possible for you to get a price match from OW.

Goto centercom the website and print off the price for which it sells the laptop and take it to an OW.

They will price match it and take 5% off

CenterCom should have them in stock and there would be no delivery charges because you could just go into the shop front and purchase it.

At any rate, the OW price is $3 lower than them.

CentreCom - Cheap Notebooks & Computers

How much is OW selling it for?

you will get it for ~ 900 if OW price match it and add their 5% best price discount.

    Thank you all!

Sorry i haven't been responding lately as i'v been compressed with time.

I did however find a nice laptop, the ACER.

    -i5 processor
    -500gb ram
    -1gb nvidia graphics card
    -4gm ram (DD3)

    for only $927!

Nice metallic style , not the rounded version.

    Thank you!

The new acer bodies are a huge improvement, those wide round things were fucking ugly. I still dont like the keyboards.

    Never buy an Acer laptop.

Terribly built and warranty is impossible to claim.

I dont agree with the second part of that reasoning, and i havent used them enough to give an opinion on their build quality. We get less acer's back than "good" brands like toshiba, then again we sell considerably more "good" laptops.
