Porting over game experience.

So I got TF2 several days ago and on my first game (2Fort) I chose to spawn as a Sniper. By the end of the first round/game I was topping overall and had set my Sniper skill streak at 23, being my first game ever I was unaware the point of 2Fort was to capture intelligence, but I was constantly getting 10+ kill streaks, smashing the other teams snipers and dropping straffing scouts with ease.

Now this isn't intended as cock waving or anything, I'm curious if any other Counter Strike players here found they could pretty much just port over their skill and rape on TF2. Basically I brought across to TF2 a couple years worth of Source experience using the awp/scout. Whilst the quickchange timing system is different, along with a few other subtle things, I just found it incredibly easy to dominate so many other players.

I'm assuming other people had similar experiences too when they started playing TF2?

Sometimes in counter strike i see a ledge and surf down it. its like surfing in counter strike and it gets me there quicker.

I found sniping on tf2 is really easy as well; scouting is g too for my strafe skills.
