    I don't know how big the updates would be, but my tf2 game files take up about 8GB.

    According to steam, when you go to install it, it's;

    2612MB

    2.6GB~

    I'm assuming you already have CS:S so theres the engine part sorted, the largest part of both games is the engine, the actual game is just a mod on the engine and is much smaller. I believe that TF2 is about 2-3gb tops, source-engine being up to 5, don't banter me if i'm wrong, i have a vague memory about this.

    Idiot. CSS and TF2 are two different source engines.

    The files are about 5gig. I reliased this when i had to burn them on two dvd disks -_-

    IIRC CS:S uses the old source engine, TF2 uses the 07 engine.

    Looking at a 5 gb download if you don't have it on your hdd. 1 / 1.5 tops if you're just updating.
