    inernet help?

    so i moved house about a month ago, only about 100 meters away from my old house..
    had crappy tpg internet at the old house was downloading at about 50kbps and could run cs/hon and skype no problems!

    now at my new house we got bigpond internet im downloading at over 400kbps sometimes at 900, but yet my css/hon both spike between about 100-150 constantly and i have no idea why! da fuk is up with this shit.
    was thinkinh it cant be the exchange because surely id be on the same one only being 100 meters away from my old house?

    any one have and ideas?

    check your line for jitter if you have that you are gonna have to ring ya m8 bigpond up. If its not that reset you're router ect. Also could be possibly to many other idiots are smashing your exchange but its most likely not that. Just you have a shit unstable connection with jitter.

    how do i test for jitter? and what is jitter? it will most likely be something stupid. the internet drops out a bit to i think when the phone rings too ive checked all the points have filter/splitters. its a fucking joke to be honest.
