hey guys,
i have a minor issue with my sound and i believe it has something to do with my PC and not the speakers.
The issue is when playing music or sounds you hear an occasional crackley noise every few seconds. It's really not that bigger deal but when you start hearing it u can't stop hearing it and is therefore frustrating.
Theres a few possibilities that i believe it could have relation to. These are:
- PC onboard sounds, possibly soundcard necessary?
- The fact the music is downloaded and not from a CD?
- Windows Media Player issue?
- Incorrect equalization?
Please help![]()
Is it with every song? Maybe theres an issue in the wiring of your speakers?
It could be your equalizationso have a fiddle round with that and see if it helps.

To make sure its not the speakers, use headphones.
Have you overclocked your PC or tried to overclock?

Interference is the big cause here...
Check where your PC is plugged into is a decent source for power
Apart from that, Onboard sound drivers are the biggest player here!
Hmmm
Could be interference...
You can hear the crackling when using headphones aswell? or speakers only?
EDIT: sarge already said this and you've already answered it ^ ><
had same issue... but that was when I put a sound card into my comp... so im back to using onboard.
