Itchy trigger finger

After playing a fair bit of Brawl since its Australian release I have started to notice that the tip of my right index finger is becoming sore from all the R-trigger blocking and rolling.

Has anyone else had anything like this happen to them? Not just from Brawl obviously. It makes me want to cut back my gaming because I don't want to get early arthritis or something like that.

Try using the L trigger.

Jokes aside, perhaps you should consult a Doctor. Of course over playing can result in sore/tired hands, but if it's very sore or reduced to one finger perhaps you should get it checked out.

hmm, i don't even think i use the R trigger, still used to the N64 days when the Z trigger button was used for shielding.

I've only noticed it the last couple of mornings, for the time being I plan on playing less to see how that goes for me. I think it could also be in combination with playing FPS games as well.

At least it isn't as bad as the old Mario Party palm blisters! They were nasty..

It happens. You're probably playing a lot more than usual.
If your hands are getting sore, sit back, don't play for a few days.

I can't say whether or not it is something that you should be worried about because we're all different. I have had this happen to my index fingers, but not very often.

If it happens, stop playing until the soreness goes away.
No sense in exacerbating it over Brawl.
