    NFL 2010/2011 Season

So, season kicked off this morning (last night in the US)
    Vikings vs Saints
Saints were going into it with supreme confidence after winning the superbowl, playing infront of a home crowd etc.
Overall a pretty average game tbh, vikings put up a strong fight and have one of the best defences in the biz, but i guess the confidence and attitude of the saints won them the game.
Favre was lacking the whole game, i was expecting a bit more from him.
Brees didnt disappoint though, completing 27/36 passes.
    MIN Vikings - 9
    NO Saints - 14

I'll be updating this thread when streams are up for each game, so if you're into NFL or want to get into it, keep an eye here

Oh fkn look at me all padded up, and having 50 years of stoppage between plays coz the 'quarterback' and 'coach' are to busy pulling each other off while preparing the next strat.

I love nfl again ever since i bought madden nfl 11 on ps3 haha. I recorded the game of espn hd, so i wish i hadn't looked at the score just then. You have foxtel to watch it constance? There has been some really good pre-season games and college football games shown. I just wish they showed us more if not all of the games on tv

You follow a team? St.Louis rams all the way! From worst to first this season!!!

So we're about mid way through regular season, let's check some stats eh.

    NFL Stats: by Team Category

My plan was to post it in the thread, but it would of taken ages to sort it all out from copy pasta. Your bets on who is going to superbowl?

    Patriots to win the superbawl

I am going to stop playing NFL, i twisted my knee again at last weeks game. We won 60+ - 0, lost count of score, dom'd shit. Next week is last game of season. Don't think i will come back next season, i have had too many re-occuring injuries.

    love this fkn game tho

Be interesting to see the acquisitions everyone makes. Forever a Ravens fan, hopefully Flacco will have matured a bit in the extended off season and learnt how to read a fucking game.
Will Manning become the highest paid NFL player ever?

Can we get an official NFL thread?

Chad Ochocinco to New England will be sick, gonna provide the Pats with a good range game.

Nnamdi Asomugha signs with Philadelphia Eagles. I don't know why but I really like the Eagles team, Vick as QB, DeSean Jackson who's a rising star as WR and now Nnamdi who is arguably the best CB.

So many QB trades, fuuuuuck. Hasselbeck to Titans will be my favourite.

I agree with 1st two points, but I don't see anyone beating GB how they're playing. Their defense is lacking slightly but that's (hopefully/fingers crossed) an easy fix. No one has a better offense than them and they have one of the better defenses. Unless they have some serious injuries coming in to the playoffs they will go back-to-back.

Edit: And it's not hard for Dallas to get a playoffs spot, they have the Giants, Eagles and the Redskins. IIRC top 2 teams go through, and the eagles/redskins are playing like shit.

i meant the c-boys will do well in the playoffs!

green bay will lose my man, as soon as aaron rodgers doesnt have a 300+ yd 3+ td game they will lose

look how many points they've put up man, they are ranked 31st in opposition passing yards

look at their schedule they don't play anyone amazing ... you wait till they come up against steelers/baltimore/patriots

patriots/gb will be a massive shoot out, GB are over rated - they are good but not as good as their record suggests!

It doesn't matter how good your defense is if you cant put up points, and realistically Steelers and Ravens both only have 3 real threats offensively; Pitt = Mendenhall, Wallace and Brown, Balt = Rice, Boldin and Smith. I think GB's offense is better than both of their defenses. It's all just a personal opinion though and I am riding GB's dick pretty hard.

fuuuark you are right though, i'd rather have a good offense than a good defense...

GB are looking so good, the problem though is no one is really getting after Rodgers...

It's going to be a great superbowl this year

Steelers were robbed, their best RB pulled his ACL (I think?) the week before and Big Ben couldn't even walk pretty much. I hate both the Steelers and Broncos.
