11.01am: RBS want the owners to cover their court costs
11.04am: Judge rules that owners should pay RBS costs
gets better and better
Don't think that another american owner will solve all your problems.
Villa, United etc
I will actually laugh if the new owners pay 3m just to replace Roy.

with the backing NESV have they should solve most problems![]()

i would be more concerned if they give him ~40m to spend in january. that's 10 poulsens.
^^ im pretty sure that was lim that offered 40m for new players etc
hopefully NESV will splash even more cash![]()

yeah i know. don't think they will, not in january. i guess it all depends how were traveling re: 4th spot. if were completely out of the running there's no point spending heaps.
It's always rosey when promises are made from the 'awsome new ownerz', but don't go complaining if you don't get that 40m![]()

finally this shit is finished
when did they say we were spending 40m wasnt that the singapore dude lol, wouldnt mind paying 3m to see Hodgson off but wont happen
still prob rather the yank (as long as he doesnt buy us with debt) than singapore dude who is apparently Manc supporter, also coming out publically with new bid might've threatened our case.

if Pool start winning and end up in top 5 at the end of the season, will you still say get rid of Woy?
Not even the best Manager in the world could fix the wreckage that Benitez left behind, you need to establish some kind of stability and changing the manager after 3 months isn't going to provide that.
I'LLSLAPYOUBITCH
Benitez didn't leave much wreckage at all (in terms of the squad)...Just media had something against him, and then were pushing Roy into the job once he was gone - that's why it's still taking so long for them to turn on him and they still blaming Benitez for bad squad lol...
It's not so hard to do better than Roy...bullshit no manager could fix it. Was his job to "steady the ship", so far he has failed and he is not a long term solution for us so dont know whta he's offering. Was meant to be a man manager and inspire confidence and has failed.
He is a nutjob atm and it's pretty obvious to everyone why he's been failing on so many levels.
-Dont loan out Aquilani & Insua.
-Buy a better DM than Poulsen to replace: thought that'd be pretty obvious...
-Dont play like mid table side and expect to draw every game.
-Make subs when nothing's working b4 80min...and when u make them, impact players should be brought on.
-Play with wingers.
-Play higher defensive line so when we win the ball back we have players in attacking positions not every1 inside own half/box.
-Instead of sitting back and letting all teams play their game against us, go back to pressuring high up the pitch to win the ball in good positions.
-Dont use Meireles as RM - 11.5m buy and Roys' like "I dont know what his best position is" very logical to play him somewhere he never played b4 and doesnt have the right attributes for.
-Don't play J.Cole on LW.
-At the very least play Lucas instead of Poulsen.
-Play Agger as CB.
-Don't play man marking for set pieces - especially when he played zonal at Fulham: just shows he's a media bunny. Our squad doesnt have enough huge tall guys to play man marking.
-Don't seperate the squad into an A and B team - means no pressure on starting team which is underperforming, fringe players are exiled and find it near impossible to get back into squad.

You say Benitez didn't leave the team in disarray in terms of the squad?
The moment he left and Hodgeson came in that was the one thing you Pool fans were going on about - "need more players and better players here and there"
And Liverpool's biggest downfall came when Benitez failed to keep a hold of Xabi (this was also down to personal differences).. a void that has still yet to be filled.
Because of Benitez' management of players you could then say that is was because of him and what his team turned into that meant the loss of Riera, Insua, Mascha and Aqua... none of these departures were because of Woy.. nor could he really do much about it, I am sure they made their decisions to leave before he even came in.
I do agree though with some of your points regarding Meireles' position out wide.. but regardless I still don't think it is terrible to be demanding a change of managers already.
I'LLSLAPYOUBITCH
Benayoun was def gone, Riera maybe could've been kept but acted badly, Masch was already gone but Roy tried too hard to hang on to him, Aquilani would've stayed if Roy actually wanted to hang on to him, nothing said Insua wanted to leave. Giving players away for free for a season especially of such talent is ridiculous...if u dont get a transfer fee just keep.
Our team screams for some1 like Aquilani who can control the tempo of the game and control possession. All our left backs are injured along with Agger so Insua would've been handy, could've fought for his place at least - he is young and improving unlike Konch.
Still he could rebuild the squad with the cash available from player sales which was around 31m pounds not any else fault that he failed. Add Jova (Rafa's signing) and J.Cole for free and we could've had a heaps better squad than right now.
I'd give Roy till December to turn things around, right now he doin every1's head in. Unless we get top 4 he should be removed at end of the year cos that was the objective and as said he's not a long term solution anyway, he's trying to impose a crap system that doesnt fit our players so better remove sooner than later.

liverpooooollll..
First Benitez fucked everything, now he didnt..
Benitez drove the club into the ground (from a management point of view)
Hodgson will come good, he's got the right mind to dominate he's obviously under pressure but every player in the team knows how good hodgson is as a manager and it will obviously take time.. I still think pool will finish around 6th even after the woeful start.
Now that we have finished the livepool bandwagon crap..
How unlucky were scottland.. came back 2-0 down to 2-2 and an awesome cross from Capdevilla got them (a good argument as to wtf the scottish defender was trying to do with that cross coming in)
Tough loss considering they were more dangerous and the first goal they got was an awesome cross/header.
ffs even i fell for it
WE HAS A LIVERPOOL THREAD
11.5m Meireles (+bonus even?)
4.5m Poulsen
3.5m+2 kids Konchesky
2.3m Jones
2m (+3m bonus) Wilson
= 24.3m + bonuses + kids
Now add the money Roy could have spent on a new striker (publically stated) but decided not to use = all the money from player sales and maybe a little more. Also consider we had to pay off Benitez 6m and to get Roy we needed another 2m.
Roy having the right mind to dominate? Don't think that is the case because he has brought us a defeatist attitude since he came in even in pre-season with the reserves, it was all negative and doomy. And the way he has our team playing by choice (no matter who plays or who we play against) we are the 1s getting dominated.
these are not the comments of a manager with the right mind nor does it instil any confidence that he will change things up http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...l-manager.html

H&G have launched legal proceedings in a case in a texas court as part of another stalling tactic. Wow @ these cunts
yep, they have got a order stating the sale of the club to be blocked. They seeking 1.6 billion in damages apparently for "undervaluing" the club.
oh and G&H are pushing for another court date on the 25th of this month.

1.6billion in damages...... LOL now if that goes through (who knows with american justice system) SOIYA LIVERPOOL
they basically have no ground to stand on so i highly doubt that this will happen.

Liverpool FC statement - Liverpool FCPoor bastardsFollowing the successful conclusion of High Court proceedings today, the Boards of Directors of Kop Football and Kop Holdings met tonight and resolved to complete the sale of Liverpool FC to New England Sports Ventures.
![]()
Regretably, Thomas Hicks and George Gillett have tonight obtained a Temporary Restraining Order from a Texas District Court against the independent directors, Royal Bank of Scotland PLC and NESV to prevent the transaction being completed.
The independent directors consider the restraining order to be unwarranted and damaging and will move as swiftly as possible to seek to have it removed.
A further statement will be made in due course.
what Gillett & Hicks are doing now is just out of spite, they clearly dont have any ground to stand on. Now they are just trying to destroy the club.

i think they're just going all in now
probs come out broke
i just want the FA to step in and wave the 9point deduction for administration for 24 hours. RBS calls in the loan and sells on to NESV. done and done.
of course there would be uproar from rival fans about special treatment, but i really think this case is unprecedented. the owners are actually doing everything they can to burn the club to the ground.
It's pretty hard for a Pool to burn down
I'LLSLAPYOUBITCH
depends what you fill it with?
Fuck that! Send them to the championship!
GO H&G!
-Royal Bank of Scotland tells me that if it's true that Mill has taken the Hicks/Gillett shares and if Mill repays the £200m long-term debt owed by Liverpool FC (plus penalty fees) to RBS and Wachovia, then Mill is in the driving seat.
-Once the debt is repaid, RBS's power ends.
-At that point, the deal with New England Sports Ventures collapses.
-Liverpool would have a new owner, Mill. And Mill will do with Liverpool what it pleases.
