Although the administrators and moderators of GotGames.com.au will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of GotGames.com.au, nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.
By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
The owners of GotGames.com.au reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.
THE FOLLOWING RULES AND CONDITIONS ARE SPECIFIC TO GotGames.com.au AND BY REGISTERING YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM.
1. Multiple posts within a topic. There is an edit button - please use it. It makes the board look cleaner. If you have anything else to say just add to your last post and put "EDIT: BlaBlaBla".
2. Asking for or where to find illegal warez. Discuss P2P and file sharing apps and how to use them all you like, but don't talk about using them to obtain copyrighted files or materials. This board is not to be used as a public warez request / filling system.
3. Don't be an idiot, use common sense, and when discussing something, remember an opinion is just that - an opinion. It should mean absolutely nothing to anyone else but the one who has the opinion.
4. Read what you're about to post. Don't just try to raise your post count. Deliberate spamming will be noticed and acted upon by the moderators, so be warned.
5. Keep your avatars reasonable. It should be something to express your personality. Large avatars are unacceptable. Please try to keep it within 120x120. Any thing over that is probably too big. Please use discretion and common sense when posting an avatar. This rule also applies to signatures, please keep their filesize to a reasonable level and height within 120px.
6. Any thread containing racism, personal attacks or offensive/illegal material will be either closed or simply deleted. You may even get your account cancelled. No porn images or links allowed. Do not post personal information or photographs of other people unless you have their permission. Do not post copyrighted material unless you own the rights or have express permission from the copyright holder.
7. No advertising. You can have a link in your sig to your site, but you must not post solely to advertise products, services or other web sites unless it directly relates to the thread topic. Do not promote other forums.
8. Make sure that what you’re posting belongs in the forum you're currently using. Would it fit better into one of the other forums on the board?
9. PM's (private messages) can be sent to any of the members currently registered to the site, this is a privelage, not a right, and breaking any of the rules through PM will cause you to undergo the same consequences at it would if you were to post offensive material in a specific forum.
10. The board Moderators/Admins have the final word in deleting/moving/closing posts and settling disputes. Show them respect.
11. Signatures can contain an embedded graphic image (jpeg, gif, png) but the link must be to a .jpg, .gif or .png and NOT to an image server script, such as .php. Inserting executable scripts or links to script servers is prohibited, regardless of what the script does. Flash and Shockwave images must also not be used.
