Can I have some info about LAN?

Hey,
So I aren't a noob with computer games, I have been going to netcafes and stuff for years. But I am a total noob when it comes to LAN events...so I was wondering how the system works in conjunction with GG. Where should I start, I would love to go to singles events my clan is all over austalia and I mainly want the experience...

Well if it is a gotgames lan then you show up with your gear(if you want to use it) which is usually just your mouse, headset, mousepad and keyboard at the time they tell you to. From there you wait for the rest of the players to show up and pay addmision fee.
You set up and warmup till first match starts.
pretty much nothing to it.

We have Draft events at Victoria Point which is what you are after. You register on your own and then teams are formed on the day.

Next one isnt planned for a few months though.

Sould come along and check out our lan next weekend - 11th July.

Im always making threads on these forums and our website (QGaming Lan Competitions). Your best bet is to regularly check GotGames and QGaming's websites.

There are events every month pretty much, All good fun. Draft lans are casual and good to meet the community. When there is an upcoming event one of the qgaming admins will make a thread. All the information will be in the thread they make, Such as time, location and price.

There are lans all over Australia. Use google to try and find them.

As for seqld lans - youll have to wait until Im home from work to post up the links I have for local lans. Not sure if they are all still running - most of have realised its way too much work and costs the organisers too much money to keep doing them!
