Heya guys,

I'm in the process of organising one of the biggest Halo 3 LAN's to be ever held in Queensland.

Where - The Chifley at Lennon's Hotel, 66 Queen Street Mall, Brisbane. It's up in the George Room overlooking Queen Street Mall itself.

When - Saturday 17th January, 2009.

What - Halo 3, MLG maps and gametypes, teams of four. Tournament structure will be double elimination.

How Much -$30 per player payable at the door. Free to spectate.

Prizes - $3000 split between 1st ($1500), 2nd ($1000) and 3rd ($500).

What to Bring - Bring your own Xbox 360 and TV if it's portable.

This is shaping up to be a huge event for not only the Halo 3 community but for the Xbox 360 community as well. Many of Australia and New Zealand's top Halo 3 teams will be in attendance including Australia's representatives at the World Cyber Games, BBR.

This event is being sponsored by V Energy Drinks and Nq Contracting.

Details for the LAN have been all but finalised.

27 teams have expressed interest so far making this event one of the biggest Halo 3 events in Australia to date.
