Im flat out this semester with 3 classes, 2days a week idustry placement project (java) and my real job as well. Anyway basicaly Im behind and I need to pay for a tutor in some areas to help me out.
Ive got someone for Control System Maths once a wk. I just need a tutor to help out with this Advanced Computer systems Assignement which is due in2wks. I need a quide as to where to start etc to cut down my time spent coding it. If you have experince with MPI and algorithum implementation then you can probably help me out quite easily. Anyone interested please email me, ryanwebb1@hotmail.com and ill give you some details.

Good luck finding someone on these boards who knows about MPI and parallel algorithms and has the time to help you.
Are you (/do you plan on) using Open MPI?

ya i figured i spam it up and see if i got a hit
yesterday I managed to get my algorithm working correctly neway, now i just gotta work out the best way to parallel it up over 10processes. I have to compare it with Load balancing in two forms, one way is to ask for a calculation and check the time for a result and other way using the system call Load average in the linux. Its a DFT algorithm for real bunch of integers (from a voice recording), So after all that is working, i then have to display it in a spectrogram using OpenGL which is probably the easiest part i think.
