GotGames Community Project (GGCP) Information

The GotGames Community Project (GGCP) will see the most talented, dedicated and respected people of this community come together as an officially recognised and supported group to help better GotGames and its members.

How is the GGCP structured?

The GGCP is broken down into several groups, each specialising in their own field, such as programming, graphics/logos, video, reporters, referees(already in place obviously) and whatever other groups I see fit to be added in the near future. Each group will have a designated leader and several members. All the people who participate in the GGCP are volunteers and do work when and where they choose, they are under no obligation and will not be forced to do anything.

How does the GGCP operate?

Privately: GotGames administrators will delegate tasks out to the group leaders as they see fit and these will then be carried out by the group. The group leader will be responsible for involving their members in these tasks. These will benefit the community directly.

Publicly: GotGames members can ask groups to assist them with tasks, whether this be programming, graphics, video, writing, etc help. Once again I state that demanding anything (with or without threatening behaviour) of GGCP members is not tolerated under any circumstances and will lead to punishment.

What exactly does the GGCP do for GotGames though?

GotGames has grown quite large and maintaining the website, forums and other services has consumed a lot of our time, leaving little room for work on new features. We've listened to the community and we'll be doing almost all of what was suggested here, fully utilising the new resources of the GGCP.

Who is involved in the GGCP?

Please don't hesitate to ask questions publicly in the provided GGCP forums or by PM'ing a member directly should you have a more sensitive question. Please however do not harass, spam or attempt to annoy any members on this forum, show respect and courtesy at all times and you shall receive the same in return.

Can I be involved in the GGCP?

If you're interested in being involved, or even if you'd like to nominate someone for one of these groups then please PM ME on the FORUMS and if there are any places available I will send you an application form. Numbers are strictly limited though to ensure manageability.

Anything else?
