possibly be a bad cable, bad inputs/outputs. Does the tv have the dots when its doing anything other than ps3?

Cheap cable?

Usually the cause of many problems.

Could also be a resolution mismatch, btw ps3 games are 720p at the moment, only a select few are 1080p

i doubt that would cause flickering dots though. HD tv's are capable of SD, its just like a down-convert. its gotta be cable or the connections imo.

Monster cable hehe, DSE ones are just as nice.

I bought both, PS3 Shows no noticeable difference on either.

Although I'd say there is either a connection / cable issue, thing is macro dots can also occur through scaling of resolution if the television can't handle certain changes.

PS3 runs at HD 1080p, games run at 720p / 1080p, if theres a resolution issue with the television corruption can occur more so on plasma than lcd.

Look simple first, settings and connections.
