PS3 Game Ladders

...hmmm im just wondering what type of Ladders does the community want to see for the PS3?

In my opinion there should only host Ladders that have a good amount of players to compete with and only games which will be actively played...

What games would you guys like to see on the PS3 Ladder?

The only game i have which is worthy of having a GG Ladder would be Soul Calibur 4... that game is a lot of fun online.

Killzone 2 might be something to look at too, its shaping up very nicely indeed.
Resistance 2 is another that might do well.

SC4 ladder would be awesome, I would compete in it for the lols. But whenever I play online I have epic lag, and always get rolled because it takes ages to do a move..?

Guitar Hero
Tekken
Gran Turismo

They're the big competitive titles coming out/that are out for PS3 and the most ladder-worthy ones imo.

Yeah same for me. Are you connected wirelessly?

Does wired connection help with this?

Wired I've noticed is much more stable, not just on PS3, but on my Xbox360 and Wii as well.

I am connected by wireless, yeah. =( Maybe you need to host so it's an aussie server, like we could be joining asian servers.

Lag on SC4?? hmm i never experienced lag when playing... besides this one time where it was really bad... i still won though.. im that good! but that was the Host's fault... he said his downloads started.

I notice theres no PS3 CoD4 ladder or tournaments setup like the 360 one. If gotgames are interested in running a ladder mainly for FPS (CoD4, CoD WaW) theres a booming site called Clan Central with over 25 active clans, some with over 100 members.

I'm sure a pay to play tourney would be hugely popular.

I will start a thread over there if GG are interested.

They're only horrid to you cos you're horrid at playing them

Would GG be interested in holding a tournament? It would bring ALOT of traffic to GG.
I'm pretty sure CEVO doesn't support PS3, so it may have to be a ClanCentral - GotGames association.

Is there someone i should PM re. getting a PS3 tournament started?

GotGames did have plans to start some ladders. I wrote rules and the like, but they never came to fruition.
I was helping realise this, but wasn't sure exactly where to start and so it seems I lost my position.

Anyways, the foundations are there.
