MGS4 almost here YEW!
Got mine pre ordered from the asiaplay, should be here on thursday! YEWYEW!

Im looking forward to the game... Never played a MGS game before but this one looks interesting enough ewith enough variety in the gameplay.
GTA 4 however I think is one of the most enjoyable and well scripted games I have ever played. There are multiple issues that cause me serious annoyance but not enough to think it isnt one of the best games of recent times. |

Played through the first and second one at least 11 times. Part 3 didn't really drag me in as much as I thought, but it still is freaking incredible.
Got my 52" Bravia last week, recliner + foot rest. Ordered my MGS4 PS3 (too bad I don't get it on launch date). I've never 'completely' understood the storyline of MGS, need to recap on it.  Reviews gave it 9.9 and 9.5 from IGN. So that lowers my fear.

I played MGS1 and MGS2 countless times, loved it so much. Used to get into the whole Sam Fisher vs Solid Snake debates at school. Unfortunately I decided against getting a PS2 and got a new PC instead, forcing me to play MGS2 on my PC, which was released later than the PS2 release. It didn't bother me once I got it though. I'm short sighted and have to wear glasses when playing on consoles, so I don't bother.
MGS3 wasn't released on PC so I was forced to rent it overnight and play it from start to finish on a friends PS2. I got up to the last boss (Eva) and couldn't be bothered to finished it. I ran through all the game not soaking up all the MGS goodness at all. Missed most of the story as well. I'll catch up on it all one day... |

The whole nude raiden part of MGS2 was annoying, apart from that one of my favourite games.

I love the mgs series mgs 1 best by far, no ps3 so no number 4 for me
 going to mates though who is mental about it bought a 34" just to play it. And this is one of the best movies i seen about it so far from in game play Video SHADOW MOSES - Metal, Gear, Solid - Dailymotion Share Your Videos And did you know they added pause features for the cut scene, they got for 30-45 mins. |

Number 3 was so awesome. I really loved the sniper battle with the end, that was so ****ing epic. It was mad how at the start of mgs3 he comes in wearing the raiden mask and scares the **** out of you. When I saw that I'm like ***, not another game with raiden

metal gear timeline goes
metal gear solid 3 (1964) - metal gear solid portable ops(1970) - metal gear(1995) - metal gear 2(1999) - metal gear solid 1(2000) - metal gear solid 2(2007-2009) - metal gear solid 4(2014) and yeah...raiden is an ass lol...his melee combo looks like hes slapping the enemy. good thing he's now a epic ninja

Quite clearly You should only be able to play 4 if u have stealth and bandana in each previous game
