btw due to the fact that it wasnt even able to be fit on a 50gb blu ray disc...i highly doubt that itll be ported onto a 360 anytime soon.

standard xbox 360 game is on a dvd9...you feel like using 5-7 discs to play a metal gear solid game?? lol

xbox officials have also stated that games will not be released in the hd dvd format...even if it was...you'd have to pay to get your 360 upgraded to have the capability to read hd dvd discs.

The game will only be on one disc..

IIRC Sony has been actively encouraging game producers to use up as much space on the disk as humanly possible and, again, IIRC MGS will use fully uncompressed 7.1 surround sound audio, which'll take up the majority of the space on the disc.

Edit: With my shifty calculations uncompressed 7.1 audio uses roughly 3GB/hour

also doesnt change the fact that it wont go to 360 as its a confirmed ps3 exclusive.

I remember playing the original MGS on PSX and getting fooly excited because it had 2 cd's. I was like WOWOWOWOWOW what an age we live in.
