Default Metal Gear Online Beta Coming April 17th!
In case you don't know, Australia and Europe share the same PS Store.

This is going to be epic! I believe it's actually going to be April 18 by the time it comes out though. Me and Cloudstrike will be owning it up as soon as this goes live, Metal Gear Solid 4 is going to be huge...

MGO Beta and GTA IV, April is huge.

goto a shop, buy a massive cat5 cable? Alternatively plug ur ps3 in near ur modem?
Or do what I did and get an electrician to wire up every room in the house :P

edit: can i use my usb wireless reciever thingy on the ps3?

If you are talking about a regular USB wireless network card then i dont think so? I plugged mine in and it didnt detect it. google around and see. I am pretty sure you'll have to buy some network bridge to run through the ethernet port.

Also once you load up the game you gotta download a hefty patch. Dunno the size but the d/l rate of 100kb/s average makes for a slowwwww time.

Dude lol, you know the PS3 has WiFi built right in? You can in fact use wireless straight out of the box if you go into Network Settings on your PS3.
