OMG.

This game completely lives up to all the hype - I've never had so much fun playing a game before.
All the trailers don't really do that actual physical gameplay justice.

4 players is a bit hectic, especially when just starting out, as you haven't collected enough stuff to differentiate your characters enough from each other. And thats pretty much the only thing I could find wrong with it so far.

Soundtrack is incredible, visuals are awesome, and gameplay is off the charts.

All this, and I haven't even gotten into the create mode or online yet

You really get eased into the game nice and slow, and the whole thing is narrated by stephen fry - it's just brilliant.

If you don't have a PS3 yet, you should get one for this game.

nice. so whats the go with it, are there missions to complete after you build the environment? game looks cool but i don't really understand what you do other than build things.

It's a story based game - you have to figure your way through heaps of pre existing levels to unlock stuff and progress the story.

The creating of your own levels is kinda like the online part of the game, where you can upload your stuff and play other peoples levels.

This is about 34.56% of the reason I got really interested in the PS3 initially.

Got this game today and heartily agree with the opening post. Give it a whirl until 1am briz time tonight when left4dead demo gets online. Took the day of work tomorrow so I can nerd it up hardcore.

it does doesnt it? It isnt a completetly online game, you can do it single player but you would be missing out on 99% of its goodness..but its on ps3 anyway so its free haha.

theres a lot of emphasis on other aspects such as creating and sharing levels, textures, objects made. For instance you could make some kind of car or something and give it to another person making a map to incorporate it somehow.
