Well guys, me and my mates are really interested in this cool childish looking game. At first glance this game appears to be some little kids game... but don't let its cute looks fool you. Believe it or not this game has an excellent physics engine and there is just no end to what you can do in this game.
It is an upcoming Puzzle Platformer and World Creation video game developed by Media Molecule. In LittleBigPlanet, players control small characters , each of which can jump, move, and grab objects. Players can use their abilities to shape and develop the highly manipulatable environment to build custom spaces either individually, collaboratively, and/or competitively. Levels focus on co-operative, physics-based gameplay, and players can use mechanisms such as cogs and blocks to build anything from small level parts to large, complex worlds. The game will also allow opportunities for players to acquire new skills and tools. So... there is no, OH! I finished the last mission/puzzle in the game... you and your mates have the ability to create their own maps/worlds and share them with you and every other person in the game. Maps created by other players are downloadable... there is no end to this game, let your imagination take control. The player may customize their character in a range of ways. They are able to select a base colour and texture for their Sackboy from a range of materials and designs. They are also able to create items for the character to wear such as masks and clothes as well as give them pre-made items including swords and capes. The game will also feature items based on other PlayStation 3 franchises such as a Killzone 2 mask and character models based on Kratos from the God of War series, Nariko from Heavenly Sword and Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series. So basically, you can customize your character any way you want to look unique from the rest. Hm... thats enough copy/pasting/editing from Wikipedia... Anyway, i think this game will be awesome and a lot of endless fun as well as very challenging. With the hopefully soon free release of Home i think that the ability to grab downloadable content from Home's 3D Virtual world will be utilized by Little Big Planet to make the game even more fun and accessible. Cant wait for this title =D its Exclusive to the PS3 yay =D

This is one of the major reasons I bought a PS3. My interest has waned a bit, however, after all the delays it's been through.
Media Molecule need to bring this out without anymore delays.

Delays aren't all that bad dude, Age of Conan should have delayed their game longer, they decided to be a bitch and release it too early making it epic fail. They had great sales within the first few weeks of launch... over 40% of the players left and went back to WoW lol.
But... Little Big Planet isnt a MMO so.. dont know if delays would affect it much ^_^

I'll pay that. Delays are a very good thing if the final product is good quality.
But this game has seemed 80% complete for about 2 years. It had better be really full of content when they release it...
