Seems the PS3 got hit by some sort of y2k bug..
Even consoles that aren't connected to the net are booting up and resetting their own date/time, which means games such as Heavy Rain are now unable to be played even in offline mode.

Yeah man. I work in a game development studio and our playstations weren't working properly. I was like "hmm.. must be a bug", then realised that every test kit was doing the same and reverting to 1999.... yawn!
