just a question for anyone who plays this, can you just play the drift part? or do you have to like play the whole story to unlock new cars, levels or whatever?

i'm only really interested in the drifting side of the game so :P

I've saw the original GRID and it was allright with the damage done to the cars etc
Is this basically a port to the PC or a "new" GRID?

Race Driver GRID is GRIG...

I got it on steam its good, drifting is kinda hard to start off with, racing isn't very realistic which is its main down side plus not being able to upgrade or tune cars, has nice graphics, nice variety, nice crashes, overall its fun. 8/10.

i've played the game before... obviously.. i'm just wondering whether or not i can just play the entire drift campaign/story rather than have to play the other story just to unlock it if you know what i mean..

Pretty sure you have to play all the campain. I have converted all the GRID drift cars to rFactor and have them in game in a new mod Best drifting sim ever

another thing, if u play the game online u can do anything, but if u want to play it by urself i think u have 2 beat the campaign/career

you can get right into drift bro, but grid's racing simulation is awesome so i wouldnt get it just for grid.

lol dave nice work

i've played rfactor before but i didn't really like it.. the whole reason i got grid was because i liked the drift side of the game, they made it really well i think. and it has some great, well known japanese tracks in it which is alot of fun.

if i want something that simulates drift so much i'll just go and do it for real

cheaa. I have always hated the EA racing games because they are just built for the arcade. Also in the last week the biggest rfactor drifting community shutdown because some idiot had a teary. lol. So we picked up 90% of their modding team and we are preparing to pump out a pretty-g mod
