He has a point, to an extent. You can't just clue around in source and be successful purely off that like you theoretically could/can in 1.6. You need the insane aim to be able to apply it, and that's why freak aim will usually win over just clue, 99/100. all about application, it seems.

That all depends. If you could rate a players clue and aim on a scale of 100, where achieving 100 in aim is never miss a shot (aimbot) and 100 in clue is knowing everything (wallhacks etc), a player with 75 aim and 50 clue would probably lose 4/5 times to someone with 75 clue and 50 aim. A player with freak aim can't kill people if they don't know where they might be and such.

clue and aim go hand in hand but more times than not, aim will win out in the end.

edit: pretty much what anakha said lol

explanation: In the end, if you have alot of clue and position yourself extremely well, if you cant even shoot the enemy in the end then there's no use. Remember that in a > 1v1 situation, once you kill 1 enemy, depending on where you killed them from and where the others are, the rest of them will either have a pinpoint or general knowledge of your location. In ending, aim is slightly more important than clue but it still goes hand in hand. Also, aim is learnt alot faster than clue is.

lolol my lcd screen is so cleea benzine that i ACTUALLY thought there was a bug on my screen and took like a minute going WTF is it inside the screen before realizing it was your avatar

edit* Personally I believe sure in scrims in practice aim counts for heaps, but when it comes to a comp-game scenario I think experience pays off, a lot of great aimers lose their confidence or get a little bit more nervous in a competition game and can cake alot, you need the total package to be really good I think.

In memory of Whisper remember the ABC's Aim Brain Clutch! lolol
