Emperor Battle For Dune

Did anyone here play this game, imo, quite simply best RTS ever made, never was real popular, especially with EA giving up on it so quickly.

Awesome graphics, i.e compete with anything to this day
Best balance of all RTS's in my opinion, every thing was well done
good interface
Unlimited unit feature

Such a good game, I would go out and buy it again if 1 or 2 of you said had it and were keen for a game?

Anyone, i miss that game, I've have like 4 hour duals that have gone back and forth that were so much fun, seriously good game?

Anyone played and keen ?

This is was a fking awersome Game Hybird. Loved Dune 2000 so loved this game even more. The Graphics where so good- unfortunatly it was about the same time as warcraft 3 and war3 took off. (war 3 = shittist RTS)

+ My PC was shit back in those days so it coundnt take Dune. The only time i got to play it was when i went to my Grandfathers house (uber PC he had). 60 and still plays RTS lol at him.

I was trying to play RA 1 but it will not install cause it needs 95 or something i mean wtf.

Ohhh... I remember Dune 2000 when I was in year 7 and these year 9 geeks were playing it every lunch time in the library...

Although Emperor Battle for Dune, firstly I remember my graphics card almost died trying to render those graphics, plus I found the maps a tad boring.... all seemed the same etc. The Command and Conquer series already filled the RTS section of my inner being.

EDIT: If i recall correctly the game is like 60x 2.88mb compressed, and some EXTREMELY smart unpacking technique happens when you unRAR it (theres a massive batch file to unpack it) -- all up its something like 1.5GB fully ready to play I think. Downside to the excellent compression is that it takes literally an hour to unpack -- although last time i installed it I was using a shit pc so maybe things have changed. Few more votes for uploading somewhere and I'll get on the case.
