ACT cs 1.6 4v4 out of the blue

By special request, we are going to host a CS 1.6 comp. In a week. So hurry up and get a team together, just grab the nearest 4 people and sign up fast!

Here's the info:
What: CS 1.6 5v5 Comp
When: Sunday 12th October 2008, 10am - approx 4pm
Where: The Barracks, 112-116 Alinga street Civic ACT
Entry fee: $125 per team of 5. Payment to be made as a single team payment of $125.
Prizes: 1st place team will receive 50% of the total entry fee money, to be divided evenly amongst the players, plus a 1 year membership account with 6 hours for each player (value $30).
2nd place: 1 year membership account with 6 hours for each player (value $30)
3rd place: voucher for 6 free hours (value $20)

All registrations must be made by midnight on Friday 10th October. Team captains should register by posting their team name and lineup at The Barracks Forums. The draw will be posted by 8pm on Saturday 11th October.

The format will be our usual double-elimination. Eliminated players are welcome to stay and play on the PCs until 4pm.

n.b I have made it a 4v4 comp because of the short notice and also because our table layout favours 4v4, but we can do 5v5 if its clearly preferred. In that case the entry fee would be an extra $25 per team.

Cool, Maybe you can use $60 deposit that I and my brother paid for the Tugg CSS comp that never went ahead and were refused our deposit refund.............

Velicoma, I am very sorry about that and you can come in and collect the $60 anytime that I am on shift. I am here from 9am - 6pm monday to friday. Ask for Jim.

I do remember that someone needed a refund for the comp that never happened, but at the time and amidst all teh chaos of closing the store i didnt know who it was or how to contact them.
