Is it possible. I tried to convert an AVI File to the WII Format but it blew the 300mb file to 1.2gb I could have sworn the WII Manual said it played AVI Files. not WII FORMAT .FUNKYCHICKEN/AVI Anyone else have a rememdy if not i might jus tbuy an old xbox and wack that as a media centre aye (like 70 bucks) |

WII Internet browser is that like just the wii connected to wireless router?
Coz i can do that easy. I would never bother with a home theatre pc tbh - I have a friend who made a xbox into a media centre i've watched it and it's great (video quality) just not sure on Sound... mmm new thread in support section i say. |

You need to buy the internet channel :/ But yeah you can play mp3z off your comp through your wii with internet channel + winamp remote. Not sure what other options there are, you might be able to stream flash video with flv...
Wii was yet again designed just as a gaming console, as opposed to its two competitors so you're unfortunately sort of smashing against a brick wall.
