Quote: Eat my n00btube of justice!
seeker brother that isnt techno thats hard trance or something
listened to a few of their tracks pretty full on but sounds alright
"The Presets" - Jeremy 'm0nk' Morris
Popof sounds good from the couple of tracks I just listened to, cheers for the tip.
I'm fairly sure most of the stuff I listen to would be considered minimal techno. A few you might want to check out:
Gui Boratto
Laurent Garnier
Luciano
Reboot
Steve Bug
Josh Wink
Sharam
Some specific tracks:
Gui Boratto - No Turning Back
Laurent Garnier - The Man With The Red Face
Reboot - Caminando
ye nfank, just love tekno. headhunterz and showtek rulez
yeah hucky, gui boratto and luciano are minimal
those last 3 you named are techno
never really heard of reboot il sus him out
il also sus some laurent garnier cause i remember him being electro house back in the day
and david stop trolling
Reboot played at Revolver not too long ago, and Laurent Garnier played Brown Alley sometime last year or early this year. Both were great sets, especially Laurent. I'm spewing that I missed Gui while I was in Thailand though...so many good artists touring recently. Shit has dried up now by the looks though, for Melbourne at least.
Brown Alley = Bad version of Laneway
this one goes out to the tar in my lungs...
robert babicz was at roxannes not too long ago, shame i was low on dough
hucky how do you have 3 credits and how do i get some!?
YouTube- Twisted
pop pingers to this
Was just expressing my love for Laneway.
I'll contribute a lot to a venue's holdings. For instance seeing Verse at 318 Gilman was way fucking cooler than seeing them at a Bicentenial Hall in Noosa.
Seeing Yeah Right in a rugsamillion warehouse at 2am was better than seeing them at any other venue.
and ps. wtf are these credit things etc?
this one goes out to the tar in my lungs...
yer i got bummed out about missing dubfire this weekend thanks to friends bailing..
any artists touring soon? or not until winter sound system

Not really related to techno, but I'm swinging by Boys Noize at Billboards next friday and potentially Surkin in april.
I might actually be reviewing that for ITM, waiting to hear back from them atm.
As I posted in another thread, I saw Boys Noize last year at Prince and he was horrible. Hopefully for your sake he plays a bit more of an unpretentious set this time - far more likely considering it's at 'boards.
told you hucky
Timo Maas - Subtellite
Sven Vaeth et al. & his Cocoon Recordings label etc
Saw him plAy @ the Future after party recently and actually got to briefly scream
"thanks for coming man" into his ear haha
going through my youtube vids for the electronic post and thouhgt this appropriate :P sven back in the day!

I've heard from numerous people that the FMF after party in Melbourne was disgusting and Vath was out of it and not in form at all..
Each to their own I suppose, glad you enjoyed yourself and met (well, interacted with him at least) the guy.
tbh i got booted about mid way through 4 being 2 wasted so yea cant really judge
but he was up and about topless dancin with teh crowd haha
ps we actually thought the venue itself was fairly spiffy for a druggy after party
Boys Noize played a ridiculously good set, he scrapped the pretentious electro shit and played a very solid techno heavy set including stranger to stability, blue monday etc etc.
His first hour was a bit messy, but the final two hours were consistent and absolutely hammering
Great great set.
oh damn wish i went
i thought hed be playing electro ;(
anyone check out tiger stripes?
I would've loved to have gone to Tiger Stripes :<
Anyone going to Hernan Cattaneo?
Joris Voorn - The Deep (Jimpster Remix)
Tigerskin - Bordeaux (Original Mix)
these have been on repeat the last half hour
edit: now solee - impressed
i need more songs to listen to hahhh.

3 AMAZING tracks
yeah,
none of which are techno
hardstylerz
since people were talking about hard trance i figured the thread was just about electronic music, i just skimmed through it my mistake ^.^
probably one of my favourite songs ever
