As far as the bands went, i missed wings (my bad). Ghost inside were awesom, very impressed. THE RED SHORE... amazing, soooo much respect for them and so pleased they are playing shows already.

BMTH.... now this was something else...

As olli walked on stage the bottles started flying, middle fingers were shown from both sides and ****wits in the crowd just didnt know when to stop... after much carrying on the guitarists and singer went into the crowd to play, inviting those with issues with them to have a go... which they did, insert mass brawl (more like people trying to hit each other while 100 girls tried to touch olli (ZOMG) and 200 dudes tried to get in on it)...

Now what was wrong with all this... the answer is simple. None of these people attacking olli physically or verbally actually know the guy. Hes just a singer in a band, its that simple. People that dont like him, because of who they presume he is or the bands music, need to grow up and have some respect... All the bands there were backing BMTH up, crafter was in there with olli during the brawl... This alone should say to everyong that maybe olli is not the person you believe and does not deserve such unjust treatment.

Funnily enough someone has posted a bulletin slandering olli, then saying they got to touch crafters hand... enough said.

So in closing, **** all you arseholes that caused ****, sure it was entertaining but it was taken way to far, mostly because of olli's refusal to back down, none the less the situation was avoidable and im so ****en ashamed by the nature of some sunny coast peoples actions... **** you.

Oh and **** you again, because now there wont be anymore metal/hardcore shows at kawana... ya ****heads
The crowd was probably reacting to this incident:

On April 13, Sykes appeared in Nottingham Magistrates Court on a charge of common assault relating to the alleged urination incident, to which he pleaded not guilty. The case was adjourned until early May.[12] On 3 May 2007 Sykes attended Nottingham Magistrates court for the second time and confirmed his not guilty plea. The case was adjourned again until 17 September.[13] Due to lack of evidence, all charges against Sykes were dropped. [14]
Pretty ****house though, because now the music scene that was growing on the coast will be dead.

Just watched some on youtube, not too upset that they got glass bottled. I've heard worse, but I've heard much better.

Isn't most hardcore just someone going on about how you will get through your problems, and should take life one day at a time, and a bunch of other crap? (Insert hatebreed reference here)

    Case in point;

A Lesson Lived Is A Lesson Learned Do it
Some scars are meant to be worn with pride.
Everyday is knowledge to use in life.
A lesson lived is a lesson learned.
Setbacks used to propel me forward
Misjudgment taken as force to do right,
A better outlook a mindset of power.
    Each day resolve and reform.
