Just curious why you need a 24 port gigabit switch?

If you're actually going to spend 17k on a new computer and file server then do it properly. Don't buy Z-5500's and don't get 24" monitors. Get 2 or 3 dell 30" LCD's and some decent studio monitors and a top quality amp, the Z-5500's are good for the price but if you're dropping that kind of cash on a system like that then there are plenty of other options you should look at.

You're better off ditching the dual xeon's in the server and the 12gb of ram and just go for 6gb and 1 x CPU, use the money saved to buy a good raid card and 8x1.5tb drives.

It's a colossal waste of money either way you go but w/e.
