have you looked at the new 890 boards i think... or 8** something...
havent researched a lot into em, but might help amd out a bit...
and i dont think i'll ever buy intel or nvidia again... so over priced for the very little extra gain. just hate intel so much >_< and my nvidia 8600gts can barely run css @ 60fps... like wtf?!?? shit nvidia...
Intel i5 is better than phenom II for the same price.

the gtx 460 offers a lot for its price.
this ^
love how you come in and just say everybody is wrong without backing any of it up you may be wrong or right but ati still has extremely good $/performance compared to nvidia atm. that being said the new nvidia cards are catching up at a steady pace
The new awp is fucking amazing. It feels like you're actually using a quality weapon with fast automatic mechanisms rather than a giant dick which needs the foreskin slowly peeled back each time you want to shoot. - Hucky on Awping

outdated much
aye guys just wondering what the current best bang-for-buck graphics card is at the moment? I currently have an XFX GTX260 Black Edition and it's been having problems so i'm looking to upgrade...
Current system has a Q9400, 4GB of DDR2 Dominator ram and an Asus p5Q PRO mobo.
i7 930 @ 4ghz - Rampage III Extreme - 6GB Dominators - GTX570 SLI SC - 800D - 60GB Vertex II - 7.5TB ~ Xonar STX
Audioengine A2 - Sherwood SW10 - Audio Technica AD900 - Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 w/ diabolo cord
Samsung 2233rz - Asus VH242H - xbox 360 Elite (gtag: bangersnmashxd)
Either GTX460 1gb, a pair of those, or the 5850/70.
In descending order for both expense and performance.
GTX460 SLi
5870
5850
GTX460
alright, im not in a hurry so I might wait it out and take a look at the ATI 6 series. Otherwise i'll SLI a pair of 460's. thanks for your help!
