Default Vibration/LF team

Hey anyone know if vibration is advantageous? I can only guess that it would give you more awareness and makes it easier if you are using split screen.

Also looking for a team, im a lvl 44.

Generally people dont judge you on how high your level is in matchmaking, but how good you work in 4v4 Scrims with team-work etc against real teams. Not randoms. I play without vibration because I wear headphones and can tell if my shields are dropping and it feels better.

Still, your matchmacking level gives you a rough idea of how good you are at fragging. So without headphones you would recommend vibration?

Oi bloke, it really doesnt matter in Matchmaking what lvl you are, just that you have to have a good BR =p. All some people care about is their rank in gametypes, but really you could be a lvl 10, and outbr generals. It doesnt matter what lvl you are, just that some people look at you differently when you play with them.

1. Using Vibration is always good if you want to know when u are getting hit or damaged
2. Ranks sometimes matter. Because you could be a general and u are vsing a major the major will sometimes think in his head that he dosent stand a chance against the general in the pre-game lobby. This sometimes also occurs when playing competative play because the general may have more experience playing the game and all that stuff
3. When playing a 4v4 Game Split Screen Should NOT be allowed due to the opponents having a disadvantage because you can easily see where the other opponents is while the other guy is playing on the other screen. Example would be where you die then you look over to ur partners screen and your his second pair of eyes call it what you will but your partner may not spot the opponent because hes far away and wasnt concentrating that spot and you point it out and so that gives you the advantage while the opponents are at a dis-advantage. A new rule should be checked that you should check for split-screen by inviting them to private chat. If you can see 2 private chat speech thingos then you can see that they are in split screen

and if you need a team talk to me or PM me ricsoslick

heres my details

GT: RiCsoSliCk30
Rank: Brigadier Grade 2
MLG skill level: 30 and Rising !

I would like to advise any new comers to the Australian competitive Halo community to not give your highest skill or your rank upon arrival, you'll find that if you mention any of these details as a guide then most of the people already involved in the community will automatically assume that you are not worth playing with.

I use vibration even with headphones, lets me know I am being shot without me having to look for my shield going down, lets me focus my vision on other things.

P.S Ric, on LAN you are next to your teammates monitors aswell, if your team has good communication splitscreen will give no further advantage.

yawn I mentioned my highest skill because thats what level I am at... your highest skill is usually how good you are, I get beaten by 49's because im 44, I beat 40's because im 44 USUALLY. I don't care if it's looked down upon or considered "noob" to think you are good because you have a high skill level. I'm just letting people know that thats where I am at in the game... if people don't think im worth playing with because I mentioned my highest skill level then they can gf.

i did not mention on LAN i mentioned that this only applied to xbox live seeing as tho this competition is on xbox live. Its still disadvantage to the opponent if you have two screens together playing on xbox live because the opponent dosent have that sort of set up due to maybe meeting each other on xbox live. Thats why it isnt allowed on GameBattles: The World Leader in Online Video Game Competition nor should it be allowed in any competative gaming ladder. UNLESS both teams have the same set-up and you agree that split-screen is alrite then go for it...

This tournament is not only XBL, games can be played on LAN...

Your highest skill never shows how good you are at Halo 3. NEVER.

GameBattles is American... America fails. Cept for MLG.

yes but again i never said that this applied to LAN and shouldnt be allowed if played over xbox live. Yes i agree ur highest skill never shows how good you are but it never hurts to mention it.

Gamebattles is American yes. But however is the most popular site upon gaming and has the best rules because its easy to abide by them and im saying those rules should be similar to these rules in gotgames.com
