Season 2 Australian Teams Only

Season 2 will be allowing Australian Halo3 teams only ?

Would make the finals a lot better by having 8 good teams in there by removing the NZ teams from the equation.

Both NZ teams from Season 1 Finals have pulled out and will no longer be competing.

This should continue into Season 2.

I'm quite frustrated at the amount of teams who have pulled out.

Is TSW still playing?

I think what went wrong was the whole "all the teams need to play each other by a certain date". You probably would have found a lot more teams competing if matches were organised each week by gotgames admins rather than leaving it to the players themselves. The negative of this is it would take a lot longer so I can see your reasoning. Having one match a week would also create a sort of hype for that match, as on ACL certain community members started doing pre match write ups and predictions - this was non existent in pool play because there was no defined structure.

Yeah, I see where my error was but I was hoping to run a second season this year and didn't want it dragging on.

I will organise Season 2 to be much better in structure and I will hopefully have some added stuff for you all.

yeh best to just get season 1 finals over and done with ASAP. If all matches should be done by today then when can we start finals starks?

If all matches are done today, I'll start finals from Sunday evening.

Finals won't take long at all. I will draw up a 'Must have games done by' time frame as well, so teams don't lose interest.

DtS 'pulled out' because we had issues with our 4th.

Why would you want 8 'good' teams when you have teams that are the best in their respective areas.

starks, every1 is kinda new to the whole team compettive play, well not every1 but most ppl, with school holidays coming up, i would think it a good idea running season 2 in that timeslot, as an example i have team members who are fairly young and need to focus on school, when i finish school i will even help organise and send promts to people before there matches

i predict 45 teams competting overall for halo 3 in season 2, i have recruited many to the forums and who are just know getting to know MLG

Mantis, that is fantastic news.

I do plan to run Season 2 and the way the ladder is structured, games are played when teams have the ability to do so.

I will explain more when the time comes, but it is fantastic knowledge to hear more teams will sign up and I can't wait to see Halo 3 flourish
