Ladders have now been locked and the finals are about to start. Here is the final standings:

- Please note, the replay of FH vs TSA means that FH have moved up several places. This is not reflected in the current ladder. Otherwise, all other standings remain firm:

Now that we have the Top 8 for both Professional and Intermediate, the Round Robin for each ladder can begin. The format for each ladder will be a best of 3, and involve the following ladders:

Preferentially, all games for the Round Robin need to be finished before Friday the 10th of October. The Double Elimination will then start, and I will attempt to finish this by the 18th if possible. I'm aware that the longer the finals go, the longer Season 2 will be pushed back, so I guess I'm trying to ask for all teams to get cracking and play each other ASAP.

I trust you guys to be able to organise the games yourselves. I have allocated what maps need to be played above so please try to play the games ASAP. All results need to be posted in this thread. Please link to the Bungie page so I can view. Please keep this thread to results only and questions on the ladder itself. More information on the events surrounding Season 1 and 2 is here:

I will record all results here so people can see and know who has won etc. I will compile a ladder at the end of the Round Robin (and at various stages throughout the results as they come in) who is placed where. At the completion of the Round Robin, the Top 4 of each ladder will move through to the Double Elimination bracket where they will face off for the right to play in the Grand Final.

If teams are level on games won / lost, a points differential based on win / loss ratio of games played will be used to determine who is the higher seed, so every game counts!

Sounds good Starks. Just a heads up, Team Slayer Onslaught is no longer part of the MLG gametypes(v5), so will we still be playing it?

So starks it doesn't matter what order we play our matches in, just so long as they are done by the 10th of October? TE and Us, will then play our match this week on lan.

Oh and yeh onslaught TS is no longer a gametype. So just chuck in another TS Map. Amplified is the MLG replacement but it is a very unpopular map and is likely to be removed.

BTW rounds 4 and 7 have 3 slayers in a row? probably best to chuck an objective or two in there for balance.

That's right Just make sure you get the games done by the 10th of October. I don't want this to go on forever and I figure most teams are able to play 7 games within about that time frame.

Yes, that was deliberate. I have favoured objective gametypes in all other rounds, and had the third 'decider' as a slayer. I figure that to give some variety, having all slayer rounds would help, plus there's less chance of draws occurring.

Open bracket will play next season, which is fast approaching.

At the end of Season 2, the following will occur:

The highest placed teams in the Opens ladder (1st and 2nd) will be offered an invitational to the Intermediate ladder.

The reason they are not now is because I haven't got a set structure to correctly run the Opens. When next season starts, all pro and inter teams will be moved to the CEVO ladder system (Pay to Play) and opens will be started again.

Essentially, opens is your 'Earn the right to play for money' ladder. I promise though that opens will be utilised for next season

Not sure whats happening with beyond reality and progression in the intermediate ladder, cause they have split up. if they are removed/withdraw from the ladder, depending on how the 17th, 18th etc ranked teams fill their spaces it will change the gametypes each teams will play with because the positions will change, so i think that needs to be clarified. maybe if people from bR and progression can confirm they are withdrawing.

Starks, my team(FiveShot) will be playing a few matches this weekend and we'll make sure we get everthing done by the deadline, but hopefully we can sort out the positions on the intermediate ladder so we dont play the wrong gametypes with the wrong team
