Well I've been looking through a few tutorials lately partly to get myself going for a good attempt at the immunity sig competition.
And I thought why not make a thread where everyone can share their recently used and/or really useful tutorials that they have seen.
ITT:
Link to
-awesome, helpful PS tutorials that you have come across
-Any other good ones, perhaps that you used to help make your latest sig etc
-Any really inspirational graphics/stocks etc [but mainly tuts, not resources]
-And a bit of a description to what you've linked to and what it shows
I sort of mean it to be used in that, if you happen to be in a PS-tut browsing mood, and come across a good one that catches your eye, please remember this thread and post it right in here!
I'm sure there are quite a few people still trawling online tutorials for ideas and to widen their skills with PS, so what better way to fast-track that process then for all of us to share the ones we use!
I'm sure there might be an old thread similar to what I'm making right now but it wasn't on the first page of this sub-forum so I thought I'd just go ahead and make a new one! (toolazy probs)
I'm also sure Bench might like to put his recently created tuts in here for anyone who hasn't viewed 'em already
I'll start-

A great overview of ways to select things from a whole image, using colour, luminosity and masks in all sorts of ways. I already new of or had a basic idea of lots of these ways but this is really indepth and pretty clear and just formalises alot of the options available to you in selecting something from an image.

Gimp is great. And makes AWESOME, EASY signatures.

Cloudy Day Signature Tutorial
Nothing special, but really shows how you can squeeze as much dynamic detail, lighting and colour as possible out of an image. Sig is in affect, turning a dull stock of some clouds into a relatively interesting one, through adjustments/lighting effects and some brushing. Useful to remember if your sig's colours are looking as dull as this guy's original stock image's.

artofgregmartin.com v. xiv - Stars
artofgregmartin.com v. xiv - Planet
How to make stars and a planet. I know at least there would be many tuts for making stars, but these two seem pretty darn outstanding. Both are pretty darn close to photorealistic.
