Photoshop Brushes ect..

After just reformatting my pc, i have decided that i want to get into learning basic Photoshop (logo's, sig's, banner's ect..).

Firstly i would like to know if anyone knows of a good brushes pack that they may have uploaded them self, or know of one they have downloaded already, that have a lot of different brushes to muck around with.

Secondly i do know there is a sticky about fonts and tuts, which i will be looking at tomorrow. But as it has been up there for a while i was just wondering if you can tell me which font sites and tutorial sites are the most effective for someone like me that is wanting to learn basic photoshop (learning how to use the brushes, how to add shadows use images, background ect..)
