Graphics Required

Anyone with a bit of spare time able to give me a hand?
Looking to make a new clan logo / Avatar.

Dimensions: 256x256

Just looking for something that ties into GenetiX (The Dual DNA Strand for example)
Perhaps with text "GTX / gtX"

Any help would be greatly appreciated - I realise its very open ended, but I'm very easily pleased Will rep for all attempts

yeah i didn't wanna pull out the Cnema4D and designs the DNA from scratch would a took way too long :P

there's nothing wrong with using google image, actually there is but for a reason no one really cares about considering what forum we're on.

it's all about turnaround times, and things like brushsets, patterns, textures, google images etc all help to achieve that. no point doing something totally from scratch if you miss your deadline in the first place.

Yeah, It's a good image, I'm just not sure its what I'm looking for.
That being said, I'm not sure I even know what I want. Just a simple logo, the letters GTX are simple enough.

In my head I have a vision of a black background, Silver Writing "GenetiX" then dark-blueish writing "Gaming"... with a diagonal brush top-left to bottom-right...
I'll see if I can make it today on photoshop with my 0 graphics skills.

p.s - Lol Cinema4D, I hate that program... had to use it in my uni course.. now im using Maya

Could someone recommend a brush for those Diagonal stripes, or is able to make a simple version in like 30 seconds? I'd ask Enforcer, but he's MIA

You wouldn't make it as a brush, you'd make it as a pattern, then u can make a pattern layer or use it as one of the blending effects, or use pattern brush.

I got a friend to do the pattern. it looked fine.. until i uplaoded it to Cybergamer..

yes i see the checkers as well. it might have something to do with the pattern you defined, take a look at the pattern and make sure there isn't any shades of white in it. i think that's the only thing giving it that white shaded checkered effect.

I juts made a new file 16x16 - then made it background see-through and then made a diagnoal with the pencil tool...

I've opened it up and had a look, theres not... there is no random shades of white...

If I send you the PSD can you just add that desired effect (Such as its in your sig) and send back to me?

Just did it again...
I think it was because I was making it 256x256 - Then Cybergames was resizing to 276x276
The artifacts only showed up on 1080..



New one.. I can see little things but i cbf

Seriously, it was my eyes. I'm looking back at those logos, and I don't see the white checkers any more.... How weird is that!
