That organisation is quite shady though, and advice from good sources suggests to not donate to them or support them. Basically only 30% of money they collect goes towards helping anyone, and their methods of help are questionable at best.

I was thinking that too. But there are others like Kony, probably worse. There are countries that are immune to prosecution and they commit war crimes almost everyday.

It's bullshit, ignore it. Africa needs to stop sucking at the teat of foreign aid (lol). Kony isn't in the country anymore and the government have already beat him. This video is way too late and offers no viable way of stopping the night commuting as a result of the war or poverty that already existed in Uganda

yeh but its still for a good cause even if all the money doesnt go to them. putting the posters and doing all that on the 20th of april will help raise awareness for the arrest of Kony. Plus i dont see other organisations pulling anything like this off so kudos to invisible children.

70% or so as places are suggesting is more than a few bucks...

edit: 70% of several million dollars. (going off 30% actually going to the cause as suggested.) and if that is being soaked up by the production of the movie and the 'action packs' that you can get for donating that is a horrible waste of peoples money.

Monetary donation is also far far less of a necessity than people putting pressure on their governments to do something about it. Though I also have read that he isn't even in a position of power there anymore. Still, he should be made to stand trial.

The money would be better off developing the country so that it can support itself, not for the funding of technology for the military to fight the LRA.

This has also been going on for over 20 years, more is needed than the capture of Kony alone.

Look mate, no matter which way you slice the cabanossi they'res no denying that this issue is seeing more coverage and having more people care about it then ever before and thats all because of these people. Why don't you put that in you're bong and drink it.
