only competitive dods there is, is the ga ladder

so if they got a cevo event running for it...the game might take off an have an actual community base aswell....right now dods just seems to be dead

ye soz rats has jus started though.....so it will be interesting to see how that goes. but cevo is a payed event means prize money....im sure it would entise those competitive teams to play in these events

Dods has a small community and competitive scene.

Though the top teams are amazing at the game. It would offer a real challenge for css pros to come to dods.

Currently there are 3 comps.

GA - which is just about dead only 4 competitive teams, rest pretty much make up the numbers.
SAIL
Rats gaming comp just starting up, has 12 teams in it.

I tried to launch a Cevo DoDs competition with Hybrid but it fell on it's arse. I dont think Hybrid was keen to start up a new ladder at the time because Cevo was transitioning to a new web engine if I recall correctly.

If Hybrid is keen to look at a DoDs competition, then he can contact me and I will work with him on creating a Cevo DoDs. Currently I am a GameArena Gameop but would happily be the driver behind another competition

I'm all for the idea, personally i think dods is a great game having played a few comp matches in it during a coupla GA seasons a while ago and enjoyed it immensely. The fact its continuous makes teamwork a little more important as opposed to round by round play. I'd be keen for a team if this got off the ground :P

The game is pretty good, Ok the 80 shots with kar if they could be maxed to 100 somehow made more 1.3 like it would be even better as there so frustrating but regardless awesome game. And a game that actually does have a large player base playing but very little competition to keep incentive in getting good at it.

COF plugin a few GG servers - with some matches and i'm sure this ladder would become quite a big addition to the gg community

FYI, CoF has been removed and replaced with the Orangebox Engine which has made the game a whole lot better IMO. This new engine has improved hitbox accuracy and registration. LERP has been a byproduct of the Orangebox engine which I dont like but meh, cannot always have what you want . Also, we have added pistol scripts to the last 2 seasons giving every class pistols.

If GotGames want to proceed with a DoDs Competition, I'd be happy to help out

is that the reason a vast majority of the servers seem laggier than they use to be lately? not too sure if the hitbox accuracy is really that good :P i'm doing more 80's and 90's than i ever did on the cof plugin but hey watevs!
