    Few tips for you.

    1) You should have cut the middle bits out. I didn't want to watch you run around nuke for that long. You should have split them up and made fancy transitions to show each kill. Not only would this have been better length wise, it would also have made the kills look better, which, IMO, weren't all that good.

    2) please look here:

    #xTrapolate CSS MOVIE Trailer

Note what I say down the bottom, regarding WMV encoding. At least your COTW wasn't letterboxed, which is nice.

Thats because its a SourceTV demo he recorded from. Almost every single shot in a demo recording isn't correctly placed where the player shot it, and in some cases (like that persons TD vs TZ on cobble a while back), nowhere near them. Its a problem with the netcode; even if your spectating someone in most, if not all shots they make, you're not actually looking at the precise place their aiming. Of course, if they are sitting looking at a wall and shooting a certain spot, you are actually viewing them in the correct position, but if they move quickly, or even just a bit, depending on the situation, you might not be.

Wouldn't have a clue. Its always been like this since I can remember. Most people don't notice / care because it doesn't actually affect gameplay, they just wanted SourceTV models

BTW: Who the **** is that "chemical.BoNa" newb in your sig?

Yeah I've noticed that in autoref demos. Is the delay caused by lag (as in ping) or cl_interp?

Enjoyed it, Honestly I dont think speeding it up too much maybe the gap between 4-5. WMV is bad, Im still playing with good compression to size codec rates. xvid Avi seems best.

Nice clip Nothing overly huge frag wize but a quality TD / Clutch. Glad I got to see it.

Dont see a problem with wmv if u ppl no how to run ya players right, you will see no problem, as snook said wmv was is fine.

3-4 is actually speed up, but no by very much. Hard problems when I speed it up to much it just jumped around.

    But ty for tips.

Notice I never actually have said WMV is bad. The fact you even said "if you set up your players right" tells me you have no idea what you're on about. I said in the post I linked to above, that >= 4mbps is the only way you'll get good quality from a WMV video. Your video, is encoded in 1.2mbps WMV. See the difference? 1.2 < 4.

I realise the above sounds extremely "asshole"'ish but I've been up all night and cbf editing it.

    ^ yes

I followed the thing posted by twelve 60 + nuke... If anyone has any better ways of rendering it in avi and keeping it lower than 12mb then please inform.

I also watch the clip on a ctr montior and see the quility is not that great... So i will keep that in mind for next time.

I don't think you followed 1260's psot very well because that actually uses VirtualDub/VideoMach to compress to an AVI.

What you need to do, is use startmovie and host_framerate 30. When you've recorded your demo with that, open the frames in VirtualDub/VideoMach. Then, grab a tutorial on encoding in DivX/XviD and do that. I could have made your clip under 15mb with 10x better quality.
