Hybrid, what about when Shotty Tomato was banned? Do you remember that time - Some wouldnt consider that as an un-justified ban, and many agreed he didnt deserve it. Maybe this was the incident Cam was reffering to?

We wont bring up that issue again, because it has been resolved and put away! But camstar might have been reffering to that incident, as many people feel that was unfair.

However, it seems we have made progress here today! :P And i hope we can continue to improve the relationship between the two in question, and help Got Games reach better and greater heights!

That was a extremely justified ban considering that Shotty had been banned for the exact same thing only weeks before. I justified that then and am happy for you to dig up the thread

Hybrid, how is it justified if what i said wasnt a bannable offence in the first place. This is what im talking about, CONSISTENCY! You cant ban someone for something and then not ban another person who says EXACTLY the same thing. And when i get unbanned by admins who disagreed with you, because it was a stupid banning in the first place, you over rule them. GG

Yea, i do agree with shotty in this situation. Eterntiy i believe from memory, said the exact same thing, maybe 1-2 words different but very very similar. Yet, shotty receives a ban and Eternity receives nothing. It doesnt make sense - It sounds like its bias towards Eternity because he was a ref, and if that was the case thats just wrong and not right. Just because he works for you doesnt mean he can say what he wants and get away with it.

However, if that wasnt the case then again your still in the wrong, as you didnt ban Eternity, yet you banned shotty.

Again, they didnt say the same thing, they implied the same thing but there are ways to say things.

Someone who puts in for the community, provides the community a service free of charge and many of the community get alot of enjoyment comes onto the forum and posts news about what it all is so more people get enjoyment from it then you have a guy who in the very first post calls it a joke, I find that disgraceful.

Add into the equation that Shotty had been banned twice previously for not contributing positively and I think that the ban was very appropriate.

If that is all you have, then your concept that GotGames ban people unfairly is quite obviously wrong.

You need to understand the concept of banning based on your history.

You do something minor, you get warned, do it again, you get warned again, again, its a 1 day ban, again, 3 day ban.

From memory, I think on a couple of days before, you to someone to **** up and die

how is it minor if its not an offense ? it wasnt anything that is my point. all of the admins know my history, all of them were able to take that into account and all of them agreed that what i said was NOT worth a ban.

So hybrid, a few of the words might have been different, but the same intention and thought process was in Eternity's head when making that post, as you said yourself "they didnt say the same thing, they implied the same thing."

And you said the reason Shotty Tomato received a ban was because he had been warned several times, does that mean because Eternity said the same thing as Shotty that he also received his first warning? because your saying shotty received warning, then warning and what he said deserved another warning which then led to the ban. So i hope that Eternity also received a warning as he said the same thing as Shotty that then led to his ban.

And what does it matter if it was the first post or not? That shouldnt have any effect at all! The main thing is what he said and Eternity said were implied as the EXACT same thing. Eternity himself has said this, so therefor he should have deserved a warning/ban! If he hasnt one could lead to thinking thats bias, that you didnt reward Eternity a warning, yet you banned Shotty!

Just my opinion, in my honest opinion your in the wrong and your having trouble admitting it!

I checked your posts and nothing that you said deserved a ban. If I did ban you for that thread then it was a mistake as the comments that i left in the posts that were deleted indicated that only bobtuna was banned

I'm really sorry, and don't take it personally, but effects/editing aside, I cant believe how bad you managed to make the source graphics look :|

The brightness/gamma was really bad (at least on my PC in WinAmp), and even looked fairly grainy =| I assume everything was maxed during capture? What'd you use?

Thats weird.

Not sure about other peoples PC's, but on mine it would've looked way better with the brightness lowered. Is 6x the max AA in Source? I usually try to capture higher than I plan to render, so I would've tried for 1600 x 1200 if i was gonna render at 800 x 600.

Did you make/use some sort of movie config for all the high-graphics tweaks Source undoubtedly offers but can't be changed via menu?

Because Source honestly looks way better on my PC, and I kinda expected the graphics in the movie to be stunning.

Have you made many movies before?

lol, I used HDR until I saw how ridiculous the lamps on mill looked :@

The brightness in the movie still seems too high, HDR or not.

Edit: Even the color filter you used for Bishnu's Inferno clip while fast-forwarding looked way better than the norm haha.

Yeh, I thought they both went to 16x. My Source honestly looks better with everything maxed in video options, let alone engine tweaks :/ Weird. Maybe the brightness is just tripping me out.
