That's right I have gotten your attention to bring you this awesome news flash:
Cod5 ladies and gentlemen is Cod4 with new skins and seeing as Cod4 was really only Cod3 with new skins you will go out and buy a game that went from cod3 to cod3 with new skins to cod3 with a remake of cod3 skins. But that isn't what annoys me what annoys me is that the company brings out game after game before anyone even has a chance to start making it into a major competitive tournament. I don't think the company realises that a "good game" dosnt need awesome graphics, or awesome story lines as the people the matter (the players that will play it for a longer amount of time, then the other retards that rely on those things to compensate for their lack of actual skills, and just want to compete in the ****ing thing) don't give a **** about the singe player nonsense that you insist on building into the games. Of course the noobs that actually care about COD5 and will rush out to buy it will say "why don't you just not buy it and play COD4." But these noobs are the same noobs that will say "omg no lyf fag y dont you just update already and have liek fun" because they cannot see how winning tournaments etc is alot funner then sitting in your room playing a single player game and getting nowhere. And then when you finally go out and buy the game because you a tired of the noobs annoying you constantly about playing cod4 not only will cod6 and 7 be released in the next week but the noobs that bantered you into getting the game will call you a "hacker noob" as you beat the **** out of them, get to level 55 and beat the single player mode in a day just because they lack the skill that you have because gamers are gamers and noobs are noobs. But it isnt the noobs fault as they are noobs it is actually the mega-noobs who write the ****ing reviews for places like Gamespace and IGN that are causing all the trouble by telling the noobs that you will only ever be a gamer if you play the latest and greatest and not worry about the competitive side of things. WRONG you couldnt be more wrong unless you are like paris hilton "the red light means the camera is off right?" But why the hell would anyone want to listen to a person that says "the best game of all time is Peggle Extreme." I dont know maybe its just because the noobs cant find a gamer that will write a 40 page review on a game when they could be ****ing playing the games that are actually good and that have competitions worth competing in so then the noobs have to listen to the mega-noobs that some how got status in the noob community and can now tell everyone what to buy (Jason Ocampo). Not saying that all writers are bad, gotgames writers are quite good as they report on the current competitions (1.6, Source) and offer interviews with world class players. It is just the retards that work for stupid excuses of organisations (gamespace) that think they are helping when really they are hurting. Had my sat night rant, have a good one

I think the moderator that deleted my post is gay.
On the other hand, CoD5 isn't CoD4 with new skins, gameplay is different, CoDTV is introduced and the time setting is COMPLETELY different. |

They could have put codtv into a patch. Ima run out and buy the game to watch ppl play it even though its ****, not to mention codtv will be a waste of space and time because as soon as cod5 is released cod6 will be made and there will be no world class competitions like there are in other games that dont get new versions released every 5 minutes.

It will be interesting to see what COD5 is like when they release the public multi-player beta later this week.

You fail to remember that video games are ultimately TOYS. Trying to give a kid a chess set, because of its "DEEP AND STRATEGIC GAME PLAY" instead of a transforming robot with 50 lasers, a nuclear arsenal, seizure inducing strobe lights and a glossy finish only makes you look like a retard.

Without going into any details Squeekz.
CoD3 was NEVER released on the PC. CoD4 is set in modern warfare. CoD5 "will" be a re-skinned version of the CoD4 engine, much like many games based off the Q3 engine back in the day. The one benefit of CoD5 in comparison to CoD4, will be the return to WW2. The return of Bolt Action rifles (requiring skill) instead of ridiculous spam spam run spam which was CoD4. We will obviously then see an increase in competitive play, hopefully a renewed focus on the PC Gaming community (yes Treyarch separated away Xbox and PC developer divisions, unlike Infinity Ward who simply ported over the Xbox version to PC).. Treyarch are actively talking to PAM modders and CoDTV developers to ensure they are given the tools needed. Regardless of whether there is similarities to CoD3.. this is a game that has been indevelopment for 2 years, outside the success of CoD4. They have had the use of the CoD4 engine - (CoD3 was based on the CoD2 engine) - and i think we will see a very very very different game to that of CoD3, CoD2 or CoD4 for that matter - hopefully something that resembles a CoD1 with new technology implemented in the game play, models, textures, etc etc..

should be interesting to see where it goes from here for cod. i agree with merlin also where he says that cod5 will be a different type of cod us PC gamers are used to. Being further competitive and more skill required. 'FREE THE BOLT ACTION'

I want to see a game with the "prediction" engine that medal of honor Airborne had, not the game, just the edits in the engine. the fact that you could play on a yanky server, aim at the person and still hit was amazing. Without Ping Lag...
yet it seems even in cod5 you still have to lead a mile to make a damn shot, and dont say its realistic, because you dont need to lead at 10 feet... Just angers me too see that they bring back the bolt actions, but make them "pissy" /endrant |

mmmm, he does have a point tho, check out the forums on CyberGamer.
Not many people are liking it. My main concern (which has been confirmed quite concretely since the demo came out) is that Cod5 is made by the same fail-team that made Cod3... it was 6 months after release before i even heard about CoD3! CoD3 failed. Cod4 was made by the original dev. team and is awesome. Cod5 fails. |

WW1 to WW2 to Modern = Works
WW2 to Modern to WW2 = Harder for fans to addapt. I loved COD, COD2. Never bothered with Cod3, but when 4 came out, i thought amazing, now we can move on from ww2... Sure its the pacific Theater, but Medal Of Honor Pacific Assault failed too. Even thought that was a brand new engine. The guy who says yes, they will love going back and forth needs to be shot. Or atleast play the games.... btw, i liked MOH.PA
