Well following trend, everything about my car or what I do to my car will be dumped in this thread. Includes pictures, videos, upgrades, additions etc.

Ill update this thread when I'm on my PC with specs and things coming.

Is it healthy for my car to be blowing explosions of fire from the exhaust?

my mate has the exact same car as you (yes, series2 gts-t, silver, minor mods) although hes probs has better coilovers and diff and shit but he rekons he gets more than 250 per tank when driving normal and thrashy there might be something wrong with your engine man

My fuel pump was installed and not mapped into the computer. It needs to be tuned. The last tune forced the old fuel pump to push more petrol because it was failing. I went to get it tuned but the guy couldn't do it because his cable was fucked. He wants me to go back this week.

Having a bigger fuelpump wont make you use more fuel.
Any fuel the fuelpump pushes through which is not used by the injectors is just recirculated back to the tank,

it will only use more if it is currently not getting enough

ie no fuel pressure at all, car running lean, normal fuel pressure car running normal....

What it sounds like he is saying is that the old fuel pump was starting to give out (assuming this was diagnosed by a drop in fuel pressure), and for whatever retarded reason, the previous owner tuned around the issue by increasing the injector duty cycle (injectors stay open longer to deliver more fuel). Now that the fuel pump has been fixed, fuel pressure is back up, and the injectors are open too long, the car is running rich.

Wouldn't it all just be burnt up in the injectors?

I facepalmed several times after reading this.

btw, i get over 300km's to a tank and im running 3 fuel pumps and 1000cc injectors. You should be able to get 400+ out of yours with a good tune behind it, as long as you aren't booting it all the time.
